Twelve Cooroy women golfers headed to the Gold Coast on Saturday 14 May to try their luck at the 2016 Golf Queensland Women’s Country Championships being held at the Surfers Paradise and Southport Golf courses over three days.
With over 350 competitors our women had some amazing results – Cooroy shines again!
Aileen Morton. – Division 4 Champion
Maz Gray – Div 4 – Round 1 Winner
Carmel Clark – Div 2 – Round 2 Nett Winner
Wendy O’Hare and Carmel Clark – Div 1A Gross Runner-up Foursomes
Lynne Dawson and Karen Mill(Gympie) – Div 2 Foursomes
Doone Flanagan and Lavinia Hill – pin shots.
Believe me it was hard work, but someone had to do it.
