Our 2 Man Ambrose attracted a field of 77 players, and most seemed to enjoy a much cooler day than last week.
The winning combination of Kevin Olsen and Errol Radley showed that to win these competitions you need to fire a few birdies.
Unfortunately there were a few cards that did not indicate who’s tee shot was used on each hole. As there was an 8 compulsory tee shots each rule in place, I had no other option, but to disqualify those teams. One of those teams would have finished 3rd.
Our 1st group out followed up last weeks’ quick round, and again took just 3 hour 10 minute to complete their round. Also well done by the group of 6 players who were placed in the middle of the field. They didn’t hold anybody up, and were praised by other competitors.
LOST – Peter Piggott lost his ball retriever during his game, and he is hoping that someone may have picked it up.
WORKING BEE – Our next working Bee will be on Monday, February the 17th, volunteers will be assisting with the coring of the greens.
