WEDNESDAY RESULTS:
Our Single Stableford off the RED tees attracted a field of 91. Paul Heesterman took a liking to the shorter course and came in with the best score of the day with 43 points. We had 5 major prizes in each of the 3 grades.
Several players have complained about slow play recently; our aim is for everyone to enjoy their game so we will be keeping an eye on the “Pace of Play” stats that are available to us. The statistics are taken from your tee off time until the last person in your group scans their card.
Last Wednesday the fastest group consisting of just 2 players took just 3:15. The next several groups took 3:55 and the slowest group for the day took 4:28.
WEDNESDAY’S COMING UP.
Wednesday the 24th of June is a Single Stableford with Men off the BLUE tees and Ladies off the RED tees. There will also be a competition within this competition that will reward the player
with the best Single Stableford score in each grade on the Back 9 holes.
Wednesday the 1st of July is a Stroke event and our Monthly Medal. Wednesday the 8th of July is a 4BBB event (try to ensure you have a playing partner). Players 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 on the starting sheet will be paired together. There is also a competition within this competition that will reward the player with the best Single Stableford score in each grade.
HOST DAY NEWS:
Unfortunately, our game at Nambour had to be cancelled due to no carts being allowed on their course. This game has now been rescheduled and will take place on Monday the 17th of August.
HOST DAY’S COMING UP:
On Monday the 22nd of June we travel to Maroochy River for a 7.30am shotgun start, the nomination sheet is on display near the Vets pin-up board at our club. The nomination fee is $30.00, and carts will be booked automatically for those entering “Cart” on the nomination form. The cost of the Carts is $36.00, and payable at the Pro-shop on the day.

SCDVGA COMING UP:
The next District event on the Calendar is on Thursday the 16th of July and is the “Team Challenge” that will be played at Tin Can Bay this year.
The Nomination sheet and details are on display near the Vets pin-up board at the club.
Carts are to be booked through the Tin Can Bay Pro Shop on 0409 727 577.
The nomination fee is $40 and can be paid by cash to the Cooroy Vets starter on a Wednesday or by Direct Debit to Cooroy Veterans Golf Club, BSB 633 000 a/c 210 827 838.
