Cooroy Golf Club launches its new MPower golf competition management software and member portal on Monday, 22nd November 2021 as the first step in the implementation of a new technology platform. Access to the Member Portal will be available on the 21st of November.
This is a significant step for Cooroy Golf Club with members able to experience the many benefits of a fully featured new generation golf competition management system and member information access system.
The new golf management system includes online booking for competitions and replaces all current paper-based competition bookings. The following are the last competition dates for paper-based bookings. After these dates’ competition booking will only be available online.
23/11/2021 – Tuesday Ladies
24/11/2021 – Wednesday Vets
25/11/2021 – Thursday Women
27/11/2021 – Saturday Men & Women
Typically, bookings will open 3 weeks in advance of the competition date.
The player making a group booking has ‘booking master’ status and can change or delete the group booking. A player who is part of the group booking can only remove themselves.
Bookings for social golf are not available online nor can you book a hire cart online. The existing procedures will continue.
Member experiencing any difficulties or problems, should contact the Club on 54476258 for assistance.
Under the new system you will be provided with a personalised score card when you register at the starters box for a competition. Score card scanners and information kiosks are in place on the bench in front of the starters box. Most members have had some experience with this sort of system from visits to other clubs, however, there will be people available in the clubhouse to assist on competition days.
A user guide to the Member Portal and booking a tee time for a competition is available to members. If you haven’t received an email copy you can get one at the bar.
