Today was our annual fun day and a very cool morning to start. The cold morning obviously didn’t deter too many people as 30 women turned up to play.

Wayne started the round by taking the first drive for every player and that achieved a very remarkable 4 birdies and 10 pars. Thanks Wayne, that was a lot of fun.

On the 8th hole we had to roll two dice and a club was designated for the number rolled and that was what we had to use off the tee. Unfortunately some players had to tee off with their sand wedges.

On the 16th we had the straightest drive which was very accurately won by Maria Taurer.

Finally on the 18th green we had to putt with a hockey stick.

Looking at some of the scores it just goes to show that sometimes you just don’t need all the fancy equipment.
