The women’s Bronze team had their first day of Match Play Pennant at Cooroy Golf Club on 13 March.  Congratulations on a great win. They defeated Mt Coolum in 6 of the 7 matches and even the one lost was taken to the 18th hole.  Many thanks to Bronze Captain Wendy Morse and Mary Miller who did a great job with administration and setting up, and to Sue Sendall for organising morning tea.  And a big thank you to the caddies for their support.

The Open team under captain Carmel Clark, travelled to Beerwah where they played against Beerwah.  Beerwah won 3 of the 5 matches but Cooroy put in a good effort to win 2 matches against the home team.

Next week the Bronze team will play Noosa Springs at Noosa Golf Club while the Open team will play Gympie at Cooroy
