District Vets 4 Man Ambrose
The inaugural District Vets 4 Man Ambrose was played at Nambour last Tuesday with Cooroy fielding 3 teams in a field of 27 teams. The Cooroy team of Andrew Dick, Ian Mulhall, Mike Smith and Rod Booth were edged out of first place by a mere one eighth of a point by a team from Mt Coolum.

To add a bit of variation next Wednesday is a 2 Man Ambrose SIXES competition. Your handicap is a quarter of your combined handicaps. Six tee shots are to be used by each player.
Each team of 2 players must hit:
6 Tee shots off the Blue markers.
6 Tee shots off the White markers.
6 Tee shots off the Red markers.
You can randomly pick which colour marker you use as long as your team ends up with 6 Tee shots on each colour.
Wednesday is also a FREE sausage sizzle and 2016 Vets AGM.
