Holiday Season Stableford – FINAL Week

Despite the weather 37 ‘hardy veteran golfers‘ ventured onto the course for the final week of our Holiday Season Stableford with Greg Michael (34), Jason Egan (38) and Nick Kostalas (34) taking out A Grade, B Grade and C Grade respectively.

The term ‘hardy veteran golfers’ is used loosely as even the local frogs seemed unsure they should be out on the course.  It reminded me of the story of two veteran golfers standing on the course looking down at a couple of fishermen on the river nearby and commenting “Look at those idiots fishing in the rain.”

Jason Egan shot the best round of the day with a 38 taking him to the top of the Leader Board, 4 points ahead of Greg Michael – see below for top 10 list.  Congratulations to Jason and all who participated, particularly on the final day in the rain.  Just proved once again we are are a resilient group who enjoy golf in any conditions.

Prizes for the Holiday Season Stableford will be presented at our 2017 Vets Opening Day on Wednesday, 11th January.
