Wednesday Results
Mainly fine weather, with a few showers interrupting the later starters, saw a healthy field of 84 players contest Wednesday’s 2 Person Ambrose.
Early starters Ron Blount and Tom Loveridge held on to the lead throughout the day, taking out the honours by the narrowest of margins with a score of 62.
Gary Duncum and Steve Jedrisko finished second on 62.75, followed by Scott Bennett and Tony Kershaw in third on 63.

Wednesday’s Coming Up
Wednesday 20 May will be a Single Stableford, with men playing from the White Tees and ladies from the Red Tees. This has been cancelled due to weather and cart unavailability.
Wednesday 27 May will also be a Single Stableford. Men will have the choice of Yellow, Red, White or Blue Tees, while ladies will play from the Red Tees.
Host Days Coming Up
The next host day is at Mt Coolum on Monday 25 May. This will be the second round of the Coo-Coo Shield, with Cooroy currently leading by 36 points.
Nominations are capped at 40 players and there is a reserve list. The event is an 8:00am shotgun start. Players are asked to book carts directly through the Mt Coolum Pro Shop on 5446 3125.
If you have nominated and are unable to play, please contact Host Day Captain Tina Thomas on 0419 901 163 as soon as possible. Entries close on 18 May, and the nomination sheet is displayed near the Vets pin-up board.
On Monday 15 June, the Vets travel to Nambour. Details and the nomination sheet will be available approximately three weeks prior to the event.

The next District event is the Team Challenge, to be played at Tin Can Bay on 16 July. More details will be shared as they become available.
