Hi reader,

John Kelly narrowly leads our 2017 Stableford Player of the Year trophy from Andrew Dick and Graeme Osborne.  Follow the link below to view the Leaderboard.

The introduction of 8-minute starting intervals on time start days is working well and will continue.  The key to the success of this change is that groups DO NOT hit off the 1st Tee before their nominated time unless called earlier by the Starter.

Unfortunately, no golf success at all from our visit to Tin Can Bay, but we did collect some raffle prizes - beer and prawns.  A good day though with our northern veteran golfer friends.

Welcome new member, Jack Ruig.

Nominations for Headland are closed as we have reached our quota. Headland List of Nominations

Don't forget to wear something green, or orange, next week for our Irish 4 Ball StablefordIt is an 8:00 am shotgun start. Although the format is Irish, with sponsorship by The Leprechauns, there is hardly any truth to rumours there will be a run-up instead of a run-down, or that the lowest Stableford score wins, or that the only beer available will be Guinness.

Our ANZAC Remembrance Day 4 Man Ambrose competition on Wednesday, 19th April 2017, will be sponsored by the Cooroy RSL Sub Branch in conjunction with ex-servicemen from Cooroy Vets.  If you are an ex-serviceman and would like to contribute to the sponsorship of the day speak to Errol Radley.
