Another great day in paradise yesterday – fairways hard with plenty of run. Quite a challenge but that didn’t worry the winners, Bob, Errol, Kevin and Dave, carding 8 birdies in their 51¼.
- Ken McKay heads overseas shortly for 5 weeks promising to bring back a photo standing on the tee at Glen Eagles wearing his Cooroy Golf Club cap.
- Rob Stonehouse returned for a visit and catchup – not currently playing golf.
- Graham Bryant enjoyed a walk around the course with his camera so we will have more photos to add to the website. There is also a rumour he video’d a few golf swings which can be made available at a price. Graham is experiencing shoulder problems and hasn’t been able to play golf.
- Worthy mention – Brad Lavenders’ attacking approach shot on the 11th from 250m out that found the causeway and tracked on to within 4m of the flag. It was actually 160m but, a bit like fishing, the distance grew as the shot was recounted over post game drinks.
