GAME DAY WRAP

Well done all medal winners. Scoring was difficult today with all the bounce and run. Too much run can be as challenging as no run sometimes.

Club Championships final rounds were played with not a few sweaty palms and dry mouths. Brad Jordison did it pretty easy though to win the Club Championship gross from runner up Grathan Leatherbarrow.

B Grade Champ was Ian Lumsden from a late charging Tony Hayes.

C Grade Champion was Peter O’Connor which was never in doubt. He won by a mere 17 strokes from Rob Nash.

The nett winners and runners up in each grade will be finalised late today – there is a lot of arithmetic involved. So we’ll let the spreadsheet work that out.

The match play finalists in each Grade will be determined by tomorrow and the draw posted in the clubhouse. So feel free to ring in and find out who you are playing.  Bear in mind though there were many people who neither put a ‘Q’ on their card or on the board to indicate their intention to qualify. Sorry boys we can’t chase you up in those matters.

So lots of P.O.T.Y points were earned this weekend and more to come in the Matchplay and indeed the mixed foursomes next weekend.
