The game was also the Qualifying round for our Single Matchplay Championship. Well done to the16 players who have qualified. Please contact your opponent and work out a suitable time to play, as we do not wish it see any forfeits.
Most players returned pretty average scores, but Terry Lyons had a day out and came in with 44 points.
Great to see our regular visitors from Nudgee clean up on the NTP’s.

MATCHPLAY
And a reminder ………Match Play participants are encouraged to play matches on a day and time other than Wednesday morning as this will allow them to also participate in our Wednesday morning competition.
If this is not practical then match play contestants MUST be prepared to tee off at the start of field or at the end of field on Wednesday morning and cannot compete in the competition of the day. Competing in Wednesday morning raffle, NTP, Captain’s Choice etc is optional.
CART ASSEMBLY AREA PROJECT (Project 4)
You will be aware from Cooroy Golf Club Newsletter No 2 that the Vets management committee has agreed to co-fund the above project which will address congestion issues and limitations of the existing cart assembly area in front of the practice putting green by providing a larger concrete area for cart assembly and improved landscaping and visual impact.
The Vets will provide a maximum of $10,000 towards the Project from our Sinking Fund set up for the purpose of funding such initiatives.
The project will get under way as soon as practical. We will keep you informed of progress but you can expect some disruption in the area during the construction period.
