At a recent meeting with the planners from GemLife we were assured that the proposed benefits to the Club are still in place and that GemLife remain totally committed to the project.
Independent consultants have been assessing and reporting on the ecology of the creeks as seen by the tagging of trees. GemLife have modified their footprint to accommodate an increased setback to the northern end of the project and are addressing issues raised by the independent experts.
GemLife hope to submit their reports and amended plans to the court on the 17th March.
The Club will be given an opportunity in the near future to review the revised footprint and plans.
