Friday, 9 December, 2016, was the day we celebrated the life of our father, Jim Penman.

We, his children, Beverley, Desley and Bruce, would like to thank all those members of Cooroy Golf Club who attended Jim’s funeral today.

It was amazing to see so many of the Vets in their green shirts.

The members of Cooroy Golf Club made the day a very special one by their presence, kind thoughts, sympathy and the memories they shared with us.

Thanks to Bill Edwards and Ken Rogers for their tributes and to Tony Foster for his thoughts which Bill read out. Thanks also to Ken McKay for sharing his memories.
