Last week our juniors played in the following events.

Next Gen Amateur Tour at Pelican Waters Golf Club – 1-2 August 2024
Jaxon Smith played in the Next Gen Amateur Tour at Pelican Waters on Thursday and Friday (1st and 2nd of August). On the first day, he played 36 continuous holes and on the second day, he played 18 holes.  He started strong in his first round and his short game was on fire but lost some confidence in the second and third rounds. This is a great experience for any junior and a great tour run by Ewan Porter and players up to the age of 25 can participate if they meet the handicap requirements.

SBG Tour at Beerwah Golf Club – 4th August 2024
Merrin Bartholomaeus played in the SBG Golf Tour at Beerwah Golf Club on Sunday, 4th of August 2024. In a field of 9 Girls for the 18-hole competition,  Merrin came 2nd out of the girls with a gross score of 79 (+7) for the day. Congratulations Merrin!

TeeMates 18 Hole Points Challenge at Southport Golf Club – 4th August 2024
Jaxon Smith had an early 7 am shotgun start at the TeeMates 18 Hole Points Challenge Event at Southport Golf Club on Sunday, 4th of August 2024. This is Jaxon’s first time playing this course. Jaxon came tied for 4th out of the boys with a gross score of 75 (+4) for the day out of a field of 74 boys. Congratulations Jaxon!
