MALENY RESULTS
A small (14) but enthusiastic group of Cooroy Vets visited Maleny Golf Club on Tuesday 16th April. Players who strayed from the fairways were soon cursing the kikuyu grass but some success was had nevertheless.
|
Gary Dwyer came 1st (43 points), Greg Michael 3rd (38 points) and Andy Stewart (33 points) won a ball in the rundown.
|
|
Next year when we visit they should have all 18 holes up and running.
|

WEDNESDAY WRAP
A very wet course made for tough golf but it didn’t phase Tony Hayes who shot 43 to take out A Grade from Ray Nolan 40 and Mike (Superman) Kent 39.
|
A return to form saw John Cairns take B Grade with 38 from 'Mr Consistency', David Attrill 37 and Terry McCulloch 35 c/b.
|
|
Dangerous Don Clelland had a nervous wait (calmed by a glass of white) before confirmed as winner of C Grade on a countback from Terry Wilson.
