Cooroy Golf Club Social Club had fantastic weather for golf on Sept 1st started off in heavy fog which cleared to a sunny day.  The game for the day was 18hole with 4 mystery holes off the yellow markers (thanks Rowdy for your request).

The cattleman from up north Keith Bell came down to steal the day with an amazing score of 42 and not being satisfied with that also took out the lucky draw prize. Dave Troman on 50 trounced Jenny Tucker also on 50. The Bradman prize winner was Peter Richardson(Narra) good to see him playing again.  Next week is the Monthly Medal sponsored by Sew Direct.  See you all there on Sunday between 6-6.30.

9-hole Ladies played Stableford on Sept 3rd in windy conditions but it didn’t hamper Elaine Henman who is back from holidays and feeling refreshed to take out the winning position with a great 19pts Gina Warriner also on 19pts came in 2nd place and Toni Mason with 17pts for 3rd place.  All are welcome from beginners to advanced to join 9hole ladies and can play 3 games before deciding to join the club. See you on a Tuesday for a 7 am start.

18-hole Ladies played the Monthly Medal and Matchplay Qualifier on Sept 5th.  Conditions we excellent and Chris Michael took full advantage to win the day with an outstanding 65 net. Sandy Viney also played well to take Runner-up on 66 net.  Jenny Tucker has improved her game to take out 3rd position with 68 net followed closely by Kate Sawrey with 70 net.  Chris Michael won Div 1 Monthly Medal and Jenny Tucker Div 2 Monthly Medal
