Cooroy Social Club met on October 27th for 18holes played with 3clubs and a putter there were 21 players taking part.  Winner for the day was Ian Anthony on an impressive 61net, John Hawkins 2nd with 69net, and Eric Kenzler with 74net.  Lucky draw winner was Neville Kuntz.  Raffle winner Rowdy prize $70 and Murray Johns $30.  Sunday 3rd November will be the Social Clubs Monthly Medal sponsored yet again by Sew Direct. Guess who keeps winning with 3 wins in a row lets go all out to try and defeat George probably not much of a chance but you never know he could be having an off day!!

It will also be the first round of Championships A and B Grade running over a two week period the 2nd round will take place 2 weeks after 1st round.  See you there bright and early between 6-6.30 Sunday all welcome to come and appreciate our fantastic course.

9hole Ladies got off to a slow start to play a Stableford Competition on Tuesday 29th October after a problem with cards thank you Joe for coming to the rescue.  Adri Milan and Glenys Bisset battled it out but Glenys was victorious with a great 19pts Adri came in 2nd also with 19pts 3rd place Trisha Gray with 17pts.

Don’t forget all are welcome to play with 9hole Ladies and are able to play 3 games before joining the club. It’s a great way to make a start with a relaxing 9holes in enjoyable company with no pressure. We meet every Tuesday with hit off time 7am.

Thursday Ladies played a 4Ball Stableford Aggregate with a twist on 31st October.  Winners for the day were the dynamic duo of Lynne Cafferky and Juliet Hall with a score of 78 followed very closely by Sue Piggott and Lynne Dawson with 77 Sandy Viney partnered with a visitor Vivienne Laurito to come home with 71 and in 4th place Aileen Morton and Fay Wiggins with 68
