Well as I write this some peculiar wet stuff is falling from the sky, how quick we forget. This summer has seen below average rainfall, the course is extremely dry right now and suffering slightly because of it. Please be careful where you drive carts, worn areas need to be avoided and be sure to follow all cart signs.
Our late summer renovations went extremely well and greens have recovered quickly. Big thank you to all the volunteers that helped us on the day, many hands make light work!
We still have some thatch issues however and this will be overcome with a heavy dethatching (vertical cutting) to be carried throughout next week.
After this green heights will be lowered and green speeds will increase.
Water supplies are quite low at present, fingers crossed for a decent down pour in the near future.
The course is well maintained and looking great, come out and enjoy a game!
