Carts can now be shared.

Cooroy Golf Club has received advice from Golf Australia that under the easing of Covid-19 restrictions it is now permissible to share golf carts even for players who are not of the same household. The advice is reproduced below.

For those players who want to maintain social distancing and are unwilling to share a cart, the Club will continue to offer a discount on cart hire for single-player carts.

COVID-19 Update for Queensland Clubs & Facilities
Golf Australia has received confirmation from the Chief Health Officer through the Department of Justice and Attorney-General that effective immediately motorised buggies can be used in the same manner they were prior to the Covid-19 restrictions coming into effect, this includes two people sharing a cart that are not from the same household. Golf Clubs and Facilities are required to ensure motorised buggies are adequately cleaned and disinfected before each use.
