Cooroy Golf Club Social Club played a 2person Ambrose on Sunday 10th winners for the day were 2 newcomers Jayden Oxley and Riley Norris with a Net 60, 2nd place was taken by the dynamic duo of Gary Page and Gary Anderson with Net 61, and 3rd by an equally dynamic duo of Nev Kuntz and Jenny Tucker with a Net 61and a half.
It will be the 2nd round of the Championship next week with men off the white and ladies off the red. If not playing in the championship come along anyway and play an 18hole stroke.
All wanting to play extra golf in a relaxed atmosphere with no bookings the Social Club plays every Sunday between 6:00-6:30 am.
No updates for the 9-hole Ladies as they were unable to play due to course maintenance.
18 hole Ladies played an Irish Stableford on Thursday 14th course a little wet after the recent storms but that didn’t hinder the winning team of Margie Lucas, Tina Thomas, Sue Piggott, and Fay Wiggins followed in 2nd place with a very surprised group consisting of Eve Hunt, Jenny Tucker, Aileen Morton, and Janine Wynwood.
