WEDNESDAY
With 24 members playing at Noosa a good field of 58 rolled up at Cooroy on a rather warm day with some excellent scores returned.
|
It is not often that you need 40 points or more just to make the rundown but that was the case on Wednesday. In fact you needed 44 or more to even place in any grade - some sort of record!
|
The highlights were: an exceptional 50 by Bob Atkin - Grant is expecting a call from GolfLink! Bob Noble shot 44 to take A Grade from Peter Jeucken also on 44. Grant had a good day shooting 45 to take B Grade from Dale (Rick) Rickard on 44. Tony Bernhagen picked up two NTPs.
Although the greens had just been cored the common feedback was how well the greens played so great job by Todd and the boys.
It was a very hot day so it was somewhat convenient that Peter Jeucken needed to get wet after his buggy went for a dip. Peter eventually recovered the buggy and all his clubs.

APOLOGY: As it turned out the 15th NTP wasn't in Dale Rickard's golf cart after all so apologies to Dale. And, some more good news. Dale has completely rebuilt the motor in his golf cart. It's now reportedly so silent you won't hear him coming and the danger of asphyxiation if following close behind is eliminated.

Graeme Caffyn runner up in C Grade, Jason Egan picked up a NTP and Greg Michael and Joe Daniels each won 2 of the 4 raffle prizes.
|
|

We head to Maleny on Tuesday, 27th November. There are 34 slots available so don't delay nominating - it's a great day.
