WEDNESDAY
Wednesday's competition was a Best 2 of 4 Stableford scoring was hole by
hole.
|
Predictions were that your team would need 100 points to win.
|
We didn’t quite get there but the team of Derek Wood, Mat McQueen, Greg Topping, and Steve Jackson went close with 98 points.
|
Second place went to Bronco Price, Don Esposito, Brett LeMoy, and Kerry Davies with 92 points.
|
Third place went to Tony Bernhagen, Tony Foster, Doug Pearce, and Brian Clemow with 90 points.
|
Highlights for Jimmy Henderson and Grant Smallacombe were when the sponsor of the day Kevin Crundall realised that he had made an error on his card. Seeing it had already been scanned and saved, adjustments were required to be made and Kevin being Kevin shouted Jimmy and Grant a beer for the trouble. Now we are considering that this should be the norm for all concerned.

Mark Kelly scored an eagle on the 16th hole, well done Mark collect your 6 golf balls for doing so next week.

Our STABLEFORD PLAYER of the YEAR is hotting up with the leader
Richard Gibson on 376 points, followed by Glen Johnstone 368, Brett LeMoy 364, and both Anthony Jones and Peter Jeucken on 363.

WHAT's COMING UP
The 13 Hole Ladies Invite is coming up on Tuesday, 5th December. It is a 4 Person Ambrose. Morning Tea will be supplied by the ladies and Grant Smallacombe will be sponsoring all prizes for the day.
