WEDNESDAY
While some went to Noosa, 56 played a Hidden Holes Stableford Competition at home sponsored by 'The Croweaters' aka Grant Samllacombe and Greg Michael.
|
The Hidden Holes were a secret, in fact, a bit of a mystery really, but can be revealed now. There were 12 holes that your score was recorded from, being 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17.
|
- Brett LeMoy had the best score with a score of 27 points.
- Brian Clemow came 2nd with 24 points.
- Pat Allen was the winner with 25 points (on a countback).
- Bruce Wilshire came 2nd with 25 points.
- Tony Atkins was the winner with 23 points.
- Jim Prendergast came 2nd with 21 points.
Due to the small field, there were just 8 run-down prizes which went to 23 points.

Next week we play a “Best 2 of 4 Stableford”. We have played this before. The best 2 scores on each hole out of the 4 players are recorded by the Simple Golf system to find the winning teams. You play and mark your cards like you would for a normal Single Stableford competition. The scores go into GOLFLINK and also count towards the Stableford Player of the Year.
|
We played our last host day for the year at Noosa and Greg Michael retained his lead to take out this year's “Jim Penman Host Day Trophy”. Congratulations Greg and also to the others who make up the top 10.
