HOST DAY PROGRAM
We hosted 13 visitors from Noosa Vets on Monday in a field of 40. The winners were:
A Grade - Rob Rossow (N) 33
B Grade - Paul Williams (C) 36
C Grade - Steve Paice (C) 35

WEDNESDAY
Our second All Tees competition produced a great 44 by Dave Chapman and 41 by newish member, Eric Kenzler. The winners were:

Next Wednesday is a shotgun start and the Vets AGM. Nominations are still available for the Vets committee. The nomination sheet is on the Vets noticeboard.

CAPTAINS CORNER
We played our second Stableford off all tees on Wednesday.
|
A month ago, we had Queensland Golf set up the 4 different tee colours to Par 70 with the different indexes. We are building up some statistics that will aid Queensland Golf when they re-rate our course sometime in 2024.
|
- 10 play off the Blue Tees
- 23 play off the White Tees
- 34 play off the Red Tees
- 20 play off the Yellow Tees
If you look at the top 3 scores in each grade, 1 came off the White, 6 off the Red, and 2 off the Yellow.

Out of the best 24 scores for the day:
|
- 2 played off the Blue Tees.
- 6 played off the White Tees.
- 12 played off the Red Tees.
- 4 played off the Yellow Tees.
- 11.5% of the field played off the Blue Tees.
8.33% of those playing off the Blue Tees finished in the top 24.
- 26.44% of the field played off the White Tees.
25% of those playing off the White Tees finished in the top 24.
- 39. % of the field played off the Red Tees.
50% of those playing off the Red Tees finished in the top 24.
- 23% of the field played off the Yellow Tees.
16.7% of those playing off the Yellow Tees finished in the top 24.
Our next ALL–TEE event will be held on the 13th of December giving everyone plenty of time to think about tactics.

It is also worth pointing out that 4 of the worst scores for the day were off the Red Tees.
|
|
And just in case you do not like this concept, it is worth remembering that this year we will play 43 of our Wednesday games off the White Tees.
