WEDNESDAY
With members away with 'The Jokers' tour and Vets playing at Noosa we had a much smaller than usual field of 64 for a 'Best 2 of 4' competition won by the 'Lenske Team' (Jim Lenske, Rick Lenske, Graeme Jakins and Chris Gannon) with 93 points.

The Wilshire team of Bruce Wilshire, Jim Prendergast, Dennis Beckhaus and Pat Allen took runner up with 92 points.
|
|
HOST DAY PROGRAM
We finally got to enjoy a host day with Noosa after two washouts at Cooroy. Sixteen of us visited Noosa on the 9th November.
|
Dangerous Don Clelland had the second best score (38) in a field of 142 to win C grade and spend $90 in the Pro Shop for his efforts. He also picked up two raffle prizes to boot – no doubt we will hear more about it in the near future.
|
Ron Ballantyne collected two balls for an NTP and Dave Lyons (35) got a ball in the run down. It was a very enjoyable day and thanks to Noosa for their hospitality.
|
We have three nomination sheets in the club house:
|
- Headland visit Cooroy on Monday 14th November. They have 29 players visiting in a field of about 65. This nomination sheet will close on Saturday, but you can still get a game by contacting Dave Lyons or Jim Henderson.
- Cooroy ladies are inviting the Vets on Tuesday 22nd November for a 7:00 shot gun start. It will be an Ambrose Competition. No need for breakfast, as you will be well fed back in the clubhouse.
- We visit Peregian Springs on Monday 5th December. A good way to end the home and away season.

COOROY GOLF CLUB XMAS PARTY
|
Put a note in your diary for Friday, 16th December 2022 for the Cooroy Golf Club member Xmas Party.
|
There will be a free smorgasbord meal, NTP shootout and prizes up for grabs.
|
|
Bookings are essential for catering purposes - book at the bar by 12th December 2022.
