WEDNESDAY
Numbers were down with the early threat of rain but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the 76 who played.
|
Grant was back on the tools on Wednesday but it involved wielding a burger flipper rather than building bridges and he did just as good a job on the BBQ for Jimmy’s Famous Burger and Beer. Thanks to Jimmy for his usual high standard of preparation and presentation.
|
Studley Martin had a good day shooting 66 to take the A Grade Monthly Medal from Bob (finally won something) Noble 68 and Jim Lenske 70.
|
Studley also picked up the Best Gross from Grathan Leatherbarrow and Mark Kelly.
|
Peter Palmer shot 72 to take B Grade from Michael Lunney 75 and Matt Saunders in 3rd Place with 75.
|
|
The C Grade Monthly Medal went to Steve Paice with 72 from Anthony Jones 73 and Tony Atkins 73
|
The winners receive a Monthly Medal shirt and towel. Runners Up and 3rd Place receive a credit to their House Account.
|
|
LIFE MEMBERS
In 2021, in recognition of outstanding service, Cooroy Veterans’ Golf Club awarded Jim Henderson Life Membership.
|
A plaque is mounted at the top of the Vets notice board along side our other Life Member, Jim Penman.
|

HOST DAY PROGRAM

The District Ambrose Championship will be held at Nambour Golf Club on Tuesday, 18th October 2022. We will be sponsoring two teams.

Hello again from the shed. After what can only be described as a long, cold, wet winter (much colder than expectedly predicted), we have returned to beautiful golfing conditions.
