WEDNESDAY
Thanks to 'The Golf Pirates' (aka Terry Wilson, Bob Atkin and John Round) for sponsoring today's Single Stableford event.
|
Wednesday could be dubbed 'Jimmy Henderson's Excellent Day Out'. Jim won the C Grade Single Stableford with 39 and then set a record that will be hard to beat - winning the Old Course Challenge twice, congratulations.

Matt Saunders returned from his grand tour overseas to post the best score of the day, 41, to win B Grade from Mark Woolway 40 and Michael Lunney 38.
|
Kerry Davies shot 39 to take A Grade from Mark Kelly 36 on count back from Scott Bennett.

2022 SINGLE MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP
|
With COVID and the weather interrupting matches we have extended the time-frame to complete Single Matchplay rounds to the end of November 2022.

NEW BRIDGES
After a run of good weather allowed the course to dry out, Vets Grant Smallacombe, Jim Henderson and John Cairns have successfully created the new concrete bridge across the water culvert on the 18th fairway. The next step is to add concrete paths at each end.
|
|
On Friday work will commence on the footings and piers for the 6th bridge in preparation for adding the new bridge deck.
