VETS FINANCIAL UPDATE

The weather has not been kind so far in 2018 impacting our financials and payments to Cooroy Golf Club for purchase of goods and services.

The Profit of $2,044.71 from golf operations as at the end of March 2018 includes full year sponsorship's of ~$2,400 paid in advance. Adjusting for this prepaid income moves the result to a loss for the first six months of our financial year.

Sponsorship from external sponsors and members continues to underpin our financial position, despite the impact of the weather.

We have $6,518.90 cash in the bank. It is essential that we maintain a cash float of at least $5,000 to cover end of year expenses e.g. Trophy Event prizes, Xmas lunch, Capitation Fee etc.

We played 324 fewer rounds than the same period last year with the result Competition Fees are down $4,104.25. Lower field numbers have been offset to a degree by adjusted prize levels.

Male membership sits at 125, down on 133 at September last year.
