My doctor told me that I'm at an age where I need to install a bar in my shower. I'm really quite pleased with it!

WEDNESDAY
A field of 87 enjoyed great weather, a shotgun start and BBQ bangers and onions in the clubhouse afterwards for an ANZAC day 4 Man Ambrose. Young Tom Huxley is a long, long way off playing with the Vets but volunteered to give Jimmy and his offsider's a break on the BBQ - thanks Tom, a great job.

Typically our fields exceed 100 but the field was down this week with quite a few Vets away touring with 'The Jokers'.
|
The Herrle Team of Hans, Laurie Staples, Jim Bisset and Graham Burgen combined well to record an impressive 52.25 to win thee event.
The Clemow Team (Brian, Tom Williams, Derek Clayton and Scott Bennett) took runner up with 53.75.
|
The Harkins Team of Keith, Andy Stewart, Bob Noble, John Stewart claimed 3rd place with 54.12.
|
|
We trialed a new shotgun start registration process this week and it worked very well thanks to the preparation work by Grant in particular. However, we had several players turn up late leaving little time for the starters to wrap up registration and get out to their designated tee in time for tee off. Please show some consideration and register at least 30 minutes before your tee time. In future we will consider closing registration earlier. If you are not registered by then you will not be admitted to the competition.
