Congratulations to Studley Martin who is our overall winner of this year's “Old Course Challenge”. Studley scored 20 points in round-1, and 19 points in round-2 for a total of 39 points.

He was closely followed by:

Andy Stewart 16 & 21 = 37 points.
|

Dennis Beckhaus 18 & 18 = 36 points.

Derek Wood 17 & 19 = 36 points.

Highlights of round-2 were:

A rare double by Andy Stewart for his pair of eagles, these were recorded on holes 14 and 16.
|
In my 10 years as Vets Captain this is the 1st time anyone has performed this feat, so “well done Andy”, you will have plenty of prizes to pick up next week. Andy’s 21 points in round-2 wins him the bottle of wine and 6 golf balls.
