WEDNESDAY
The weather put a bit of a dampener on ANZAC day sponsored by Cooroy Pomona RSL Sub Branch and ex-servicemen, Errol Radley, Kevin Crundall, Tony Kershaw, John Cairns, Frank Hansen, Cam Darby but it didn't dampen the spirits of 84 players in the ANZAC 4 Man Ambrose.

Tony Kershaw shared a story about an interesting place in New Guinea and led players in remembering and paying respect to past and present servicemen.
|
The Griffith Team (Kent, Tony Kershaw, Jim Henderson, Peter Buchbach) got it all together to record 57 points and narrowly take first place from the Kologaras Team (Alex, Rudy Agerbeek, Jim Bisset, Studley Martin) with 57.25.
|
The LeMoy Team (Brett, Kerry Davies, Don Esposito, Steve Jackson) finished in 3rd place with 57.5 points.
|
The Straightest Drive on the 2nd went to Studley Martin.
|
Thanks to the efforts of Tom Huxley and Jimmy Henderson players enjoyed a sausage sizzle in the clubhouse after the game.
|
Brittany Hall is an exercise physiologist with our new 'Straightest Drive' sponsor, Mind and Motion Exercise Physiology, a clinic that offers treatments for various sports and health conditions. Brittany explained how she can help with age-related issues, injuries or chronic diseases. Dave Chapman, one of our members, is currently receiving treatment from Brittany with considerable success.
