WEDNESDAY
We are still holding our number in the 90-100 range with a Wednesday field of 93.
|
Scott Bennett scored 43, the best of the day, to take A Grade from runner-up Greg Flanagan with 40.
|
Wayne Carty 37 took out B Grade from Ray Lally with 36 on countback from Derek Clayton and John Cairns.
|
Geoff Cowan carded a good 41 to win C Grade from Jim Prendergast with 39.
|
Terry Wilson is in trouble with our Captain, Grant!!

Vale Mike Miklenda
It is with sadness we advise the passing of Mike Miklenda. Our condolences to family and friends. Funeral arrangements are private.
|
Mike was a long-time member of Cooroy Golf Club and a Gold Member of Cooroy Vets and played golf into his 90s, often recording wins against younger Vets. After retiring from golf, Mike actively continued the many friendships he formed in the Vets' community.
|
|
Mike made a significant contribution to the early development of the golf course and was always interested in what was happening at the club. He will be missed.
|
|

HOST DAY PROGRAM
The annual District Team Challenge will be held at Headland Golf Club on 8th May 2023. The Vets pay the cost of participation.

This year the premier golf event in the Noosa Hinterland will be held on Saturday,10th June so mark your diary. Online registration will open in early May so start thinking about getting a playing group together. You will be able to nominate a group of up to four players in one online registration process.
