GEMLIFE PROPOSAL - INFORMATION SESSIONS
We are now in a position to facilitate information sessions to bring members up to date on the latest proposal and design. The dates are shown below. The sessions will be held in the clubhouse.
|
The plans will be available in the clubhouse in the Pro-Shop area from the afternoon of Monday, 20th March 2023, for examination by members.

WEDNESDAY 22ND MARCH 10.00 am to 2.00 pm AND 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm

THURSDAY 23RD MARCH 10.00 am to 2.00 pm AND 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm
|

SATURDAY 25th MARCH 10.0 am to 2.00 pm AND 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm

MONDAY 27TH MARCH 6.30 PM TO CLOSE

The objective of these sessions is to provide an opportunity for members to clarify any questions they may have and provide feedback on the GemLife proposal based on the latest information.
|
The project is about securing the future of Cooroy Golf Club so we encourage members to actively participate in these sessions.
|
GemLife representatives will be available to explain the latest proposal and design and answer questions. Management Committee members will also be available to answer questions.
|
In Newsletter Issue 4 the Management Committee made it clear that they wish to continue discussions with GemLife as the proposal offers a unique opportunity.
|
The information now provided by GemLife is extensive so the Management Committee needs time to fully analyse and evaluate the latest proposal and design. We will then be in a position to form a view on the merits of the proposal and undertake further constructive negotiations with GemLife. We expect feedback from members through the information sessions to provide important input to these negotiations.
|
The final decision on the merits of the latest GemLife proposal will be determined by members at a Special General Meeting to be called by the club at the appropriate time. It makes sense to consider the merits of the proposal based on the latest complete information - time is on our side.
|
It should be understood that if there is a YES vote on the Motion to be resolved at the Special General Meeting called by members and scheduled for 28th March 2023, then all discussions with GemLife will cease immediately without any further negotiations.
