WEDNESDAY - Remembrance Day
The significance of the day was recognised by participation of a large field of 97 in a 4 Man Ambrose. Unfortunately, COVID-19 restrictions didn’t allow the traditional get together at the end of competition. However, those in the clubhouse took a few moments to remember with Tony Kershaw performing formalities and reciting the Ode.

The prizes bequeathed by the late Bill Edwards were put to good use with 'contests’ on every hole. Andy Stewart took the longest drive on the 11th and Bruce Otto picked up two NTPs. Ray Glover is back playing golf and scored himself a NTP.
|
The ‘Radley Team’ of Errol, Wayne McKinnon, Russ Rylance and Peter Jeucken put together a great team effort to take the main prize - ten birdies got them across the line. Another one for the mantle piece Errol!
|
Early starters, the ‘Noble Team’ (Bob, Keith Harkins, John Stewart, Andy Stewart), set the pace for a good part of the day but we’re eventually pegged back to take second place.
|
|
‘The Smallacombe Team’ of Grant, Wayne Hastie, Jim Henderson and Scott Bennett delivered Grant a birthday present (age - 29 years and quite a few months) with third place.
|
|
|
