VETS 2020 AGM
The Minutes of the 2020 AGM held yesterday are available on the website - click the button below. Thanks to all those members who stayed to ensure a quorum.

The following were elected to position:
|
|
Captain: Grant Smallacombe
|
|
Vice Captain: Jim Henderson
|
|
Host Day Captain: Dave Lyons
|
|
Secretary/Treasurer: Rod Booth
|
Committee: Andrew Dick, Mike Smith, Terry Lyons
|
|
We welcome Terry Lyons to the committee. This is not Terry's first time on the committee so he will start earning his salary immediately.
|
|
|
|
|
|
WEDNESDAY
The weather threatened for most of the day but most escaped without getting wet and produced some good scores for the November Monthly Medal, sponsored by John Madill Toyota. Perhaps a damp course with less run helped.
|
We will circulate a list of qualifiers in advance of the 2020 Medal of Medals scheduled for the 2nd December 2020.
|
Andrew Aves produced a very good 66 to take the C Grade medal from Jim Henderson and Matt Saunders.
|
|
Ron Blount returned to form to take B Grade with 69 from Darryl Ayers and Dave Lyons.
|
Peter Piggott took the A Grade medal with 67 from Peter Buchbach and Gary Menyweather.
Peter Buchbach won the Kevin Tonkin Best Gross with 78 with a four way tie for second place between Richard Gibson, Jeff McDonald, Kerry Davies and Gary Menyweather on 80.
|
|
The special NTP on the 11th went to A - Paul Korczynski, B - Bruce Otto, C - Matt Saunders. Each will receive 4 Titleist ProV1 golf balls donated by Kim Bannikoff.

|
|
|
|
When you finish your round and finalise and sign your score card a reminder to write your score on the whiteboard (if it is in use on the day) and then place your card in the box located in front of the Vets Noticeboard. If you are not sure of your Grade check the notation on the inside of the box lid. As you place your card in the box check the Lucky Draw sheet to see the winners for the day. Lucky Draw prizes not collected are forfeited.

04/11/2020 - Single Stableford including coloured ball event sponsored by 'The Critters' (aka Brian Clemow & Tony Foster).

|
11/11/2020 - Remembrance Day sponsored by Cooroy/Pomona RSL Sub Branch and Vets ex servicemen. NOTE: If you are an ex serviceman and interested in participating in sponsorship, speak to Errol Radley. The competition has been changed from a Single Stableford to a 4 Man Ambrose as a team game is more appropriate for this special day.

18/11/2020 - The competition has been changed from a 4BBB Stableford to a Single Stableford sponsored by Gary Menyweather.
