HOST DAY PROGRAM
With conditions on the course, uncertain weather and a low number of nominations we have decided to call off hosting Noosa on Monday, 14th March 2022. It will be rescheduled for later in the year.
|
|
The timesheet for our visit to Headland on 28th March will be in the clubhouse on Friday 11th March.
|

WEDNESDAY PROGRAM
Our washed-out March MONTHLY MEDAL will be played at a later date and this will be advised.
|
Due to other washed-out games, Ron Blount and Derek Clayton, “The Sultans of Swing”, will now sponsor on March 30th. “The Ball Busters”, consisting of Joe Daniels, Andrew Carson, Don Clelland, Ron Ballantyne” will now sponsor on 13th April.
|
Next Wednesday is our Irish Day so wear something GREEN. It is a 7:30am shotgun start. Tee allocations will be on the whiteboard.
|
The competition is now called a “Group Best Ball Split 6” (repeat that quickly 3 times!) and is very similar to the “Irish Stableford” that we have played in previous years. To give you an insight:
|
- This is a Stableford competition for 4 player teams.
- Three player teams can compete.
- Each player has their own scorecard and plays, scores and marks their card like a normal Single Stableford. The new system will then calculate the team score once all 4 cards have been scanned.
Your final score will be calculated as below:
|
- For the first 6 holes, only the best individual score for each hole counts.
- For the next 6 holes the best 2 individual scores are added together to make a team score.
- For the final 6 holes the best 3 individual scores are added together to make a team score.

MEMBER PORTAL
|
|
Members can now view account balances by signing in to the Member Portal and selecting Accounts from the menu. You see two accounts:
|
- House Account
- Subscription Account (used for membership subscriptions and associated charges)
Select House Account. A credit balance means you have money in your account that you can spend on purchases from the bar and pro-shop. Vets competition prizes appear in your House Account as a 'Add Vets Golf Prize' credit transaction. You cannot spend more than the available credit balance. You can top up your House Account by depositing cash at the bar.

The Member Portal allows you to:
|
- View and update personal details.
- Make an online booking for a golf competition. Social bookings are not available online nor can you book a hire cart online.
- View your handicap record.
- View your member accounts.
- View the BOM weather map.
We encourage you to review your details under My Profile and update information as necessary. You cannot change Full Name or information under the heading Secure Details.

A directory of members is available via the Member Search menu. The default setting for ‘Directory Privacy Settings’ is ‘Hidden’ – that is, phone number/s and email are not displayed in the directory.
|
|
We get a lot of members asking for the contact phone number for other members. If you are comfortable displaying your phone and email detail in the directory of members, you can change the privacy setting to ‘Visible’. This will reduce the number of inquiries.

At a recent meeting with the planners from GemLife we were assured that the proposed benefits to the Club are still in place and that GemLife remain totally committed to the project.
