Golf Management System - Tips

Hi reader,
We are seeing the benefits of the new golf management system and Members Portal.

If you have booked a tee time for a competition but can't play, you can logon to the Members Portal and remove your name from the tee booking. As Wednesday fields are running at or near capacity this is important as it allows another member to book the time slot.

Big fields are a great reflection on our competition but it makes for a very long day for your Vets Committee.

Ensuring cards are correct at scanning means we can quickly wrap up at the conclusion of the competition and, allow the committee to go home earlier.

You can help, Here are some tips.
  • Before you scan your card confirm your score with your marker and then both sign the card. We strongly recommend you scan your card with your marker present. If the system indicates an inconsistency you can quickly resolve it and save the card.
  • Once scanned, the system calculated score and your written total score are displayed side by side on the kiosk screen. If they are not the same you need to edit, cross check your score on each hole, correct as necessary and then save. Any error could be in your favour!
  • The score card provides an example of how to record your score and correct a mistake. Neatly marking your card in the 'Mark the actual score here' area ensures accurate interpretation by the system. A wayward mark in the wrong place can confuse the system.
We display competition results on the TV screen in the clubhouse throughout the day. You can also monitor the leaderboard by logging on to the Member Portal and viewing Results as the competition progresses.
