WEDNESDAY
That's pretty much a wrap for another successful, albeit eventful, year of Vets golf. There have been many highlights with the most impressive being the number of times our field exceeded 100, a record.
|
Brian Clemow wraps up a memorable year leading Team Clemow (Brian, Scott Bennett, Tom Williams and Gary Webster) to victory in the 4 Man Ambrose sponsored by long time member sponsors, 'The Bush Boys'.
|
Team Britain (Kelvin, Richard Gibson, Kevin Pickford,Peter Jeucken) finished close behind with 55.12 to take runner up - a missed putt!
|
Team Saunders (Matt, Darryl Ayers, Trevor Kinneally, Gary Menyweather) claimed 3rd place with 56. Almost the 4 Stooges reunited!
|
Richard Gibson claimed two Long Drives, A Grade 2nd and 11th, Tom Williams B Grade on 2nd, Bob Read C Grade on 2nd. An impressive drive from way back saw Wayne Carty claim the Long Drive on 18th.
|
Grant presented Peter Jeucken with his hole-in-one trophy without the ball as Peter lost it in a dam almost immediately after his hole-in-one.
|
The holiday season Stableford competition kicks off next Wednesday.
|
This will be the last Vet Newsletter for 2021. Have a safe Xmas.

We kick off 2022 on 5th January 2022 with a 7:30 am shotgun start and catered meal.
|
|
|

Jim Penman captained the Vets for 16 years and was a mentor to many of our members. The Vets created the garden in memory of Jim's contribution to the club.

2022 - ANNUAL PROGRAM
Grant has finalised our program for 2022 - it will be another action packed year with lots of variety. Without giving anything away, watch out for 'Jimmy's Jumble'. And, expect increased prize levels.
|
|
The program will be added to the website event calendar progressively. We are hoping for more shotgun starts in 2022.
|
