The three-way play-off for the A Grade Champion title between Andy Stewart, Keith Harkins and Grathan Leatherbarrow involved lots of pressure and provided great watching. Here is a bit of commentary from our Captain, Grant.
Keith Harkins hit the best tee shot and all players ended up with a par.
Andy Stewart hit the best tee shot and was rewarded with a par, Grathan finished with a bogey 5, and Keith a double bogey 6.
Keith Harkins hit the best tee shot, Grathan was in the trees on the left, and Andy’s ball hit a tree on the left and could not be found so he had to re-load.
Andy ended up with a double bogey 7, both Keith and Grathan scored a par 5.
Grathan won with a total of 14 from Andy and Keith who both scored 15.
Congratulations Grathan Leatherbarrow, our 2021 A Grade Champion.

NEXT WEDNESDAY
The teams have been announced for the annual Aussie vs International All Stars next Wednesday. The Aussie Attack team captain, Grant, is very confident of making it four in a row particularly with his secret weapon, Team Vice Captain, Con Russell in fine form. Con is chief team motivator for Aussie Attack and is responsible for putting other teams off their game with a bit of sledging.
- International All-Stars: Jim Henderson (Captain). Player or one parent born overseas.
- Australian Attack: Grant Smallacombe (Captain). All Aussie heritage.
- True Blue Aussie: Dave Lyons (Captain) All Aussie heritage.
