WEDNESDAY
Despite being off, then on, 82 players were able to get on the course for a game to shake off the cobwebs from the lockdown.
|
Bruce Wilshire was back to his best shooting a handy 41 to take B Grade from Mark Woolway 40 and Doug Pearce 36.
|
A countback was needed in C Grade with Geoff Cowan 36 taking top spot from Don Clelland 36 and Glen Johnstone 35.
|
Russ Rylance is hitting form at the right time to win A Grade with 40 from Laurie Staples 36 and Kerry Davies 36.
|
We kick off our 2021 major honour board events on the 1st September with round 1 of the 2021 Vets Championship. We will also play the August Monthly Medal. Round 2 will be played on 8th September with the September Monthly Medal. Both rounds are stroke events.
|
September also sees us change to Summer Tee Times - hit off from 6:30am.
|
HOST DAYS

As advised earlier, hosting Noosa on Monday, 16th August is cancelled.

LOCK-DOWN TRUTHS
If these last few weeks have taught us anything it is that stupidity travels faster than any virus on the planet.

Having some states lock down and some states not lock down is like having a peeing section in the swimming pool.

Another Saturday night in the house and I just realised, even the trash goes out more than I do.
