WEDNESDAY
Russ Rylance had a good day collecting a bottle of wine in the lucky draw and partnering with Mark Woolway to take the 4BBB Stableford with 45 points. Thanks to the 'The Crow Eaters' aka Grant Smallacombe, Nick Kostalas and Greg Michael for sponsorship.

A great field of 98 enjoyed a free Jimmy's Famous Burger and Beer and chat at Marty's Hut. Who knew Nick could BBQ, talk and sponsor at the same time! We are still not sure about Nicks cooking but, we did get our daily does of carbon. A great job by Jimmy and Nick.
Runners Up went to Tony Hayes and Peter Palmer with 44 on countback from Gary Menyweather and Bruce Otto.
The rundown went to 42.

Next week is round one of the Foundation Members Old Course Challenge sponsored by 'The Territorians', Andrew Dick, Mike Smith, Jack Timm and Ian Lumsden.
|
Inaugurated in 2017, the Old Course Challenge commemorates the efforts of foundation members Ed Otto and Lionel Willett, in establishing Cooroy Vets in 1985. The challenge is played over two rounds in conjunction with an 18-hole Single Stableford. Players separately record their score for 18 holes and the 9 old course holes. The old course holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 16, 17 and 18 are highlighted on a special scorecard issued on the day.

Scores for the 9 old course holes are aggregated for the two rounds with the highest ‘all in’ score deciding the overall winner. There are separate prizes for each round.
