GOOD NEWS
- We resume NTP's next Wednesday. Sanitiser will be available at each NTP green.
- We go back to swapping score cards with your marker next Wednesday.
- Our Wednesday Lucky Draw will continue at six bottles of wine.
- The practice of assigning Lucky Draw numbers on the weekly nomination sheet will continue as the norm as it overcomes the problem of players forgetting to put their name on a lucky draw sheet. NOTE: Don't forget to check the Lucky Draw Winners sheet when you return to the clubhouse and sign off that you have collected your wine. For the time being, we will continue to hold prizes not collected on the day of the draw for collection when you next play.
- A reminder that next week is a FREE hamburger and drink. Please observe social distancing rules when you stop at Marty’s Hut. We hope to see some of our non-playing members for a catch up.

WEDNESDAY.
A minor oversight; Vice Captain, Jimmy Henderson, forgot to bring along the results from Round 1 of the Old Course Challenge, delaying the outcome and causing a bit of nail-biting and speculation about the overall Old Course Challenge winner with a few liking their chances, including Jimmy.
|
|
In the wash up Jimmy did just enough to add to his Round 1 win to claim the big prize with a total of 39 - well done Jim. Minor placings, but no prize, apart from honorable mention, went to Ron Blount, Tony Hayes and Terry Lyons with 37.
|
Peter Jeucken took the prize for Round 2 of the Old Course Challenge winning two bottles of wine.
|
Best scores on the day in the Stableford competition were in C Grade with Dennis Beckhaus taking first place with 39 on count back from Andrew Moon and Tony Kershaw.
|
The ‘Lyons brothers by different mothers’, Terry and Dave, claimed winner and runner up in B Grade with Tom Williams taking 3rd place.
|
In A Grade, ‘Bronco’ Price returned to the winners list with 39 after being pipped last week. Andy (I haven’t won anything for a while) Stewart grabbed runner up from Greg Michael.
