VOLUNTEER WORKING BEE - DIVOT REPAIR
A big thank you to the 20 or so members who turned up last Monday for the divot repair working bee.
|

You did make a difference. The confusion about the sand only added to the day!

WEDNESDAY
A very chilly start to what turned out to be another great day in paradise for our JUNE Monthly Medal sponsored by John Madill Toyota. We have just about caught up cancelled monthly medal competition days.
|
Highlights: A close tussle in A Grade requiring a countback, and then rechecking the calculation, saw Greg Michael take the medal from 'Bronco' Price with 69. Third place also required a countback with Andy Stewart taking the prize with 70.
|
Tom Williams made a welcome return to the winners list taking B Grade with 70 from 'Rick' Rickard and Bruce Wilshire.
|
Andrew Carson took C Grade with 72 from Jim Henderson and Bob Atkin.
|
There were some good gross scores on the day with Grathan Leatherbarrow taking first place in the Kevin Tonkin Sponsored Best Gross with 77 from Andy Stewart 78 and Bronco Price 70.
|
We have had a number of enquiries about restarting NTPs. Provided easing of restrictions continues, we expect to make an announcement next week.
|
NEXT WEEK is a Stableford sponsored by "The Jumping Jacks" (aka Andrew Dick and Mike Smith).
