WEDNESDAY COMPETITION
Unfortunately the weather caused the last minute cancellation of carts and competition but a few hardy souls, desperate for a game of golf, walked 9 holes on a pretty wet course.
Not much to report other than the brilliant EAGLE by Graham Laing on the 16th – congratulations to Graham on his first ever eagle.
Hopefully we can now look forward to a run a good weather for a change.
Next Wednesday is a 4BBB Stroke sponsored by Cooroy RSL Sub Branch. NOTE: It is an 8:00 am shot gun start.
WINTER START TIME
Commencing on the 1st MAY we move to a winter start of 7:00 am rather than 6:30.
CAPTAIN’S CORNER
After playing golf at Bribie Island I had been dropped off at the Yandina round-about. I was lucky enough to be offered a lift home by Graeme Finn. Imagine my surprise when it turned out my ride was to be in his “Stretch Limousine”. I’m sure if you ask Graeme nicely he could offer you the same experience.
