The operation of a golf course depends on the use of specialised machinery to produce surfaces and surrounds that are suitable for the game of golf.

This machinery and the associated labour costs make up a significant proportion of the annual course maintenance costs.  As the machinery is used everyday it needs to be reliable and consistently deliver optimal performance.

This job involves:

• performing routine maintenance and repair to course machinery and equipment.  More specialised maintenance and repair work may require outside technical assistance. Operator Manuals should be available for each piece of machinery and equipment.
• maintaining a history record of repair and maintenance performed for each piece of machinery and equipment.
• maintain a list of spares parts for each piece of machinery and equipment.

Skilled and qualified to repair and maintain equipment and machinery typically operated by a golf course.

Light to moderate physical effort involved.
