REGISTRATION CLOSING TIME

Our competitions run under the direction of a Starter who acts like a Concierge of Golf providing the gateway to an enjoyable day of golf for members and visitors.  The Starter’s role is to register players, collect fees, hand out unclaimed prizes, move players between groups if necessary, adjust tee times where necessary, smile a lot and engage in humorous banter with players, make the lucky draw AND manage an orderly start to competition for each playing group.

Typically this requires the Starter/s to be there between 6:00 am and 9:30 am, sometimes later.

Our Starters also play golf, so they need time to wrap up the registration side of things and then head out and enjoy a game of golf.

Despite previous requests we still have players turning up late.  From next week, the registration window will close 15 minutes before the last group tees off.  If you are not registered by then TOUGH LUCK you will not be admitted to the field – no late admissions.
