VETS COMMITTEE  RESPONSIBILITY CHANGES

This year we have some 78 golf events on our calendar – Wednesdays, Host Days, District Events and Invitation Days.

Organising and managing such a large number of events involves significant effort and dedication of time, which falls largely to Captain, Grant Smallacombe.

With a view to sharing the workload and providing an opportunity for more direct involvement, Greg Michael (right in photo with Jim Henderson) is taking over responsibility for organising and managing our Host Day Competitions (home and away), District Events and Invitation Days.

Greg will take over after a few days away to prepare himself and will be supported by Grant, Jim and the rest of the Vets Committee.

Jim continues as ‘Chief Providor’ ensuring Host Day pre-game refreshments are first class.
