Captains Corner 4th March 2015

Two games of golf this week.
On Monday we hosted Mt Coolum and had a very successful day with a total of 94 players taking part.
Tony Foster ‘s score of 43 points now has him hitting the lead in the ” Jim Penman Host Day Trophy”.
The leader board is on display on our notice board

Wednesday’s ” John Madill Monthly Medal “ attracted 84 players. This included 8 visitors from Noosa and 2 from Nudgee.
The best score of the day ( net 62 ) belonged to Jeff McDonald, and once again our serial runner up in A grade was Bob Noble with a net 64
Bob did however finish in 1st place for best gross score of 74 and also had an eagle on the 1st.

GREEN IS THE THEME for next weeks “Irish 4 Ball Stableford”. It’s a 8.00am shotgun start
and there will be a free sausage sizzleat completion of play. It should be a great day with local Leprechaun legend Jim Henderson in his element.
